Dr. Caroline Martinez

Owner, Doctor

Dr. Martinez is Medical Director and owner of Martinez Wellness Center. She has been caring for patients in the Western Suburbs of Chicago since 2004. She has extensive experience in outpatient, inpatient, pediatric, and geriatric care. Dr. Martinez graduated as valedictorian from Northwestern University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. She then attended medical school at Midwestern University/Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, Downers Grove.

Dr. Martinez strives to provide comprehensive, compassionate, and personalized medical care. Through her postdoctoral training in Functional Medicine, she seeks to address the root causes of chronic disease, correcting underlying physiological dysfunction and imbalances. She emphasizes sustained lifestyle changes as foundational components in wellness restoration and maintenance. Proper sleep, optimal nutrition, regular physical activity, stress-reduction, positive relationships, and patient education and participation are all vital to achieving and maintaining optimal health. Additionally, she offers advanced laboratory testing and pharmaceutical–grade supplements as part of an integrative approach to assessing and treating a variety of medical conditions, which can be found on our Services page.

Dr. Caroline Martinez is a Board Certified physician, licensed to practice medicine in all of its branches in the state of Illinois.
